Probably motion sensing, saves on the storage. Although most setups are so poor everything just looks like blob.

Ideally each camera will be covered by at least one other, but people are often too cheap. So you could probably get away with "dazzling" the cameras and make it to the house.

Now all you have to worry about are any locks (anti-drill/bump/snap are cheap), window & door sensors, reinforced doors (no sneaky kicking out a panel), etc. Maybe you'll catch a break & their system is wireless; these are often attackable. Do they have dogs? Best bring a couple of steaks.

Oh, don't forget cameras that may be elsewhere; plan your ingress and egress carefully. You may need multiple vehicles.

Shit, nearly forgot. Forensics. Make sure you have shaved yourself bald & wear a full suit. Maybe bring along detritus to contaminate the scene (not from your own gaff, silly).

One thing to remember though, by the time you've gone to all **that** effort it's probably less hassle to earn the money to just buy the stuff yourself.

Don't forget to factor in the risk of being caught, their high value electronics (e.g. laptops) may have a tracker (mine sure as shit does) and be hard to fence. Or simply locked to them and bricked after a phone call, but not before a bit of triangulation.

Summary: Don't do crime, kids.
