Not directly a solution & to be clear - no an accusation or wrong diagnosis or anything.

But private clinics giving out diagnosis for ADHD, ASD, etc. anyone got any references or sources for the rate of successful/positive diagnosis from these clinics?

I just wonder if the NHS are concerned about the business model and risks around that from a private clinic.

Just hypothetically - I don’t imagine a private clinic who charges for assessments to be done and then doesn’t give a diagnosis (potentially one being sought) is likely to be very successful.

Note: I am fully aware of the difficulties people are facing getting assessment for many issues on NHS (even before pandemic); so I can appreciate why they would go private for the service.
