My landlord is increasing my rent so I need to move.

Realistically all I can afford is a flat share now. Frighteningly, there is massive competition for flat shares just the same as flats.

Lists and lists of people offering £500-600/month *for a room*.

I can't afford that in total rent, how the hell am I supposed to find a room that's not in the back of beyond or that's an utter shithole.

Really scary being a mature student with minimum wage PT job. It's like society it telling me I don't deserve a home, I deserve to be homeless or to give up on my dreams of getting a degree (and a well paying job).

Could cry thinking about it honestly.
