It’s very run down and needs massive investments, like entire train stations are rusted and haven’t seen any repairs for years. It’s dirty with litter everywhere. Flat prices are going through the roof. Downtown is full of hollow faced people with substance abuses. Public transport is expensive and unreliable, it’s seriously a joke compared to continental Europe. Large areas of the city are completely undeveloped and just wastelands. There are trees!!! growing on top of roofs a little here and there. The list goes on.
It sometimes feels like a city that has no idea where it’s headed or what it needs to do to get there. |
