| Comment | They care about it about as minimally as they legally have to. Energy efficiency upgrades are expensive and don’t benefit the landlord in any way really.
Lots of landlords in the UK live abroad and own lots of flats in the city (in Edinburgh 14 landlords own 5500 properties, my old landlord owns 14). They exist to pump you of as much money as they can get away with generally.
Aim for the best energy efficiency you can get (C will be fine) but gas heating is essential. |
