| Comment | Proper introduction I can't help but laugh there. Dogs can introduce themselves perfectly fine and like humans can make their minds up on the spot, you being nervous about the dogs meeting will infact make your dog nervous about the situation and your dog not knowing why you are nervous maybe lashing out to defend you. not all snarls and barks are aggressive as such some are just space/limit setting, some are dominance setting.
Infact I'd go as far as doubling down its a you issue not the dog issue if you see certain people regularly out with their dog, maybe one you say hello to and your like oh its them and there nice wee dog so in your head and more importantly the senses you are giving off is one of positivity and your own dog is chill but when you see a stranger and their dog you might be giving off nervous vibes, the second the what if comes to your mind heart goes up dog knows this can even smell your worrying and because your pooch loves you whats he gonna do? |
