I have trained him with treats and sitting when any other dogs approach for the last 12 years. No nerves on this side, I can assure you. He's a good lad. The thing is that the other dogs who are off lead, just come up and sniff and want to play (which dogs do) but mine doesn't like it and responds assertively.
