| Comment | I live just on the dennistoun side of bellgrove station, but technically calton ward.
Been here 8 years and the last two have been by far the worst in terms of anti-social behaviour.
Despite all the amazing wee businesses that have moved into the area (dennistoun and the barras) there are more junkies,
neds and alkys than ever.
Streets are manky, junkies snooping about closes, folk getting assaulted outside at the weekend, and loads of drug dealers.
Feels much more unsafe than it ever has in the time I’ve been here anyway.
Ironically, i think the bellgrove hotel shutting has just spread the junkies throughout the area rather than move them out completely. |
