| Comment | How interesting! I think that kind of stuff is really informative. It's a shame there's the language barrier because it would be really interesting to be able to understand the perspective firsthand. When I worked at Glasgow uni, the chinese students tended to keep themselves to themselves, but I was thinking in a final show format, they would have to create something for wider appreciation.
During the pandemic I got a little involved in community art and it's really interesting to see the things different groups or people from really varying situations come up with, based on what has appeal or emotional connection with where they are in their lives at that moment.
I might see if there are any final shows this month that I could go to to get a firsthand look at the work! |
