Yep that's what happened. If I said no he would have either moved out and I'd have to go through the time and expense of finding a new tenant who may have been worse. Better the devil you know...he pays his rent eventually.
Or he would have stopped paying rent and I'd get him out a year or so later.
I generally rent out in shitty areas so don't have the best tenants. I like to rent out to people who have little to no credit history due to just coming into the country.
If you think I'm a mug for reducing this family's rent by £25 a month then so be it. |
