Trains ridiculous at the minute, pain in the bum.

Knew about it when I went to see MCR at the Hydro, got there by train to Exhibition Centre but only bought a single knowing I wouldn't be able to take it back (usually can't anyway since it's so busy).

Got out the doors early and planned to just walk a fair bit out the way to order a taxi, walked over the white road bridge aimlessly towards Glasgow and checked the taxi apps and saw there was no chance and Uber were quoting £33. Checked my bus app Whiz and saw the bus back was a 5 minute walk away (Paisley Road West), result, \~£2.40 return compared to £33. Will be doing that from now on even when the trains are back to normal.

OP you can probably do the same since Ibrox is just off Paisley Road West. Bus to the centre (maybe just walk a bit further West to get a quieter bus stop to get a seat) then the bus to Edinburgh as folk are saying. You could maybe even take the Subway from Ibrox or Cessnock since it runs to around half 11 if you plan well to get all the way to Buchanan Street subway station which will take you close to the bus station via the Queen St exit at the station.
