| Comment | I work for a small company. It could get better if they hire someone else which they are looking at just now. My boss is also pretty good and flexible. But I am super aware of justifying my salary and bringing in enough fees at the end of the month. Part of the pressure is the fees expectation, part client demands ( and competition elsewhere) and part of my own making. I have pretty high standards and get stressed if I keep people waiting.
I'm also paranoid about people thinking my health conditions are getting in the way of work, even though they actually are! I've worked so hard to be successful even with chronic illness. I'm just finding it hard to keep it up.
I'm desperate for a better balance but part of me feels like it would be admitting defeat to something I've fought since I was a kid. I also like the money lol |
