my flat is tiny and I put up with it, sucks but it's life. You could maybe ask others in your close if they want to chip in for a bulk uplift together. I feel like there are bigger problems that need attending to here, like people are literally starving and you're mad you have to keep an old ironing board in your closet. The real issue with flytipping is from shitty landlords anyway, who can afford removals for the belongings of the evicted but are too cheap to pay for it.

It does matter that the council is bankrupt, otherwise how would they do it? Obviously the council shouldn't be so skint in the first place, and should manage their money better but I can't just wish for it and make it happen. I absolutely agree that the recycling system is not up to a good standard and ideally should be changed, but there's what's ideal and what is feasibly possible.
