I went home to Ireland for the weekend. Checked my meter when I got back, and see it cost me almost a tenner to run my fridge and freezer while away.
I live alone. Utmost sympathy to low income families trying to run a full house. The prices are scandalous.
Boggles my mind that any working class folk vote for neoliberal vampires instead of socialist parties. But that's for another day.
