| Comment | Company policy is a heap of shit if the drivers don't comply though isn't it?
My personal circumstances are that I work in home care so I get the bus a lot and know how bus stops work. I know that a lot of drivers are absolute stars but that there are a whole pile of them that aren't. Between refusing to let me on with wheelchair users because someone is on with a pram, despite "company policy" being that wheelchair users get priority, or expecting me to get them on without any assistance, not even lowering the bus to the kerb let alone getting out and putting the ramp down. Or just straight up driving past people who have hailed them down because they're late on their route. It's happened to me and I've seen it happened to others while I've been at the stop waiting for a different bus.
And those are the ones that actually turn up.
First bus are fucking shite and if I had any other choice I wouldn't get them. But I don't. |
