the state of Mexican and Tex-Mex in the UK is horrendous. There's a 'new' place in Shawlands called the last rodeo (🤢) that claims to be Tex Mex, but it's far from it. They don't even know what proper migas are.
No restaurant here has proper queso (the dip, y'all. not just cheese).
your best bet is your kitchen with help from mex-grocer.conlm, Lupe Pintos, and the kindness of your friends and family back home who can send you goods. |
