Southside I would say is better if one of you is still studying if their uni or college is in town. Easy to get trains or not even a far walk especially if you’re looking to work in town too. Then for nice walks n that Queen’s Park is a wee walk down from Mount Florida which is really nice n chill. Not sure what flats are like there rent wise in that area though. Knighthood isn’t too bad but much further from town. East end is also a good shout - I live in bridgeton n pretty much right next to Glasgow Green decent park plus 10-15 min walk into town
