So there’s not much around the SECC. I’d leave your wife to go to conferences there and base yourself elsewhere.

Markets= supermarkets. The main ones are Sainsburys, Tesco, Morrisons Aldi and Lidl. We have a couple of others that are independent.

Restaurant wise- Glasgow is pretty child friendly and most kids menus have been made with kids in mind. Bills is always popular with families, lots of friendly Italian restaurants (Amore is my favourite) and your usual chains.

If you take the subway over to kinning park there is a large soft play there and there’s various big parks with playgrounds/baby swings if the weather is good.

I’d also recommend taking a day down to largs or Troon on the train for a Scottish seaside day if the weather is fair.
