This protest is aimed at the wrong governments. In general the western governments are doing more and more to take advantage of renewable energy and eco friendly practices. They even make legislative requirements to do so. Which is great.
However the developing countries/emerging super-powers do not give a solitary fuck for any of it and use whatever gets the most value for money and pollute their balls off. This negates any substantive green policies from the west.
So yer protests would carry more weight if you staged then in the, say, Chinese or Indian embassies. Or why not take a trip to Bombay or Beijing and replicate your protests there?
Tackle those most responsible no? |
