I’d argue that the original districts of Ek are really well laid out for pedestrians. With localised shops/bus routes/underpasses etc. But that it’s a large place to traverse hence the reliance on cars buses.
The new estates are a law unto themselves though and are not very pedestrian friendly. They’re satellites linked by roads.
