| Comment | Generally feel pretty safe in Glasgow, very very rarely had any bother coming in and out of gay bars or if holding partners hand. Occasionally giggle or comment from drunken neds but nothing threatening.
TBH feel much more threatened when I going for a run lol lol can’t count the times randoms - usually steaming - have shouted or thought it hilarious to jog alongside me or jump in front of me at Tollcross park. To be fair it usually hilarious.
Growing up in Aberdeen I felt much more threatened and got much much more abuse being gay, especially when on nights out and stuff. Been in Glasgow near 20 years now and can barely count on a hand the times I genuinely felt threatened. |
