| Comment | I absolutely agree that we need more cycle lanes. They just end or only go one way. I got my kids into George Square and then Glasgow Green on bikes and they loved it but getting back was much harder due to incomplete lanes.
However I agree that the current bus gates are simply a cash cow. Poor signposting and clearly designed to meet minimum requirements but catch as many as possible.
I think we need to make all roads in the city for bikes, public transport and pedestrian. Then have 2 main roads for cars to get through the city. Set delivery/ service vehicle to before 8am or after 8pm. Then allow special access for those who have mobility issues a d need cars. |
