I usually live in East Kent but have been in Glasgow for uni.

In January I was stuck on crutches and had to go several times to hospital. I took Uber at first because I could barely move but then I started taking the bus... only for the bus to not show up, second time it broke. If you miss one appointment because the buses are shit you have to make another that can take another month or more - it's unacceptable.

Even if everything was alright the buses from my place to the hospital didn't connect and I had to walk two streets on crutches, uphill on the way back, to change lines. That was horrible, took me half an hour just to get to the right station, then wait standing up for a bunch longer.

Add to that this thing where you have several companies that don't accept each other's day ticket, I got kicked off one bus because of this.

Needless to say I hope to never have to use Glasgow buses ever again. Before and after injury I just cycled everywhere, because 3 years ago when looking for a place here, I waited for a bus once that never showed, and then just walked everywhere ( I didn't have my bike then).
