Here you go mate, say you want to register as homeless to get a section 5 referral. You will be offered temp accommodation (in most cases immediately) - but it's pretty grim, think alchys and junkies etc, you're not obliged to accept (won't affect application) and it's mostly aimed at those unemployed etc.
Be picky with areas you choose as potential housing, for example if you pick Govan etc it'll be a shit hole but won't take long - if you pick a more affluent area you will likely be housed quickly but it'll take a while longer. |
