You've got quite a bit to the west of the railways to use. Build on top of bridge Street/subway and just have them combined into one big station. Means you could get train to "south Glasgow central" then hop onto the subway without going outside. Keep commuter trains going into central. In fact you could just jump onto the subway to Buchanan st to get to queen st station.
