I’m familiar with the homeless process in Glasgow. You need to present to your local council office and present as homeless. You need to be honest and tell them you have nowhere to go and there is DV involved. They will source you a temporary accommodation where you will be booking into and in some cases offered housing support. Then you can stay there until the council offer you a suitable accommodation. The whole process can take different amounts of time for everyone. Larger families who are waiting on bigger properties wait the longest.
