Kilpatrick Hills are the easiest, short train ride then its a straight wander up with a decent view.

Second choice would be The Cobbler, fairly quick bus and really nice views, popular walk, there are a few Munros around the area you can do as well if you preferred.

You arent going to get much better than a bus to the Glencoe Ski Lodge though, you can follow the WHW up to Kinlochleven then down to ballachulish and get the bus back, or you can do a few munros ([https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/fortwilliam/buachailleetivemor.shtml](https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/fortwilliam/buachailleetivemor.shtml)), those will either be a long day or an overnight, but well worth it.

Local gigs, obviously depends on music taste but would try to get to King Tuts if there is someone you like playing
