| Comment | My friend lives just around the corner from that place in whiteinch. It's OK, you can easily walk to west end, have quick buses to the city centre or trains from partick also in walking distance. I also used to work there for many years.
Cons are that some neds are gathering on that old railway line that was turned into the cycle path, I used to cycle to work and I was bothered by them a few times, once I had to run away as they were aggressive (luckily I was on my bicycle). There is often a lot of broken glass there as well.
Also, take note, there is that big scrap yard trader nearby, and they are handling scrap with diggers and big cranes all day long, it can be noisy sometimes.
I don't know that much about the other location. My friends lived not far from there and they had problems with some junkie neighbours, but otherwise they liked it. |
