So of all the banks in Europe, Barclays is the biggest funder of fossil fuel projects. (They also have a very murky history of funding apartheid in South Africa, illegal arms sales, I mean in pretty much every gruesome conflict you will often find Barclays somehow involved on the wrong side of it.) Globally, I think it’s JP Morgan who are the largest funder of fossil fuels.
