What would help is having more dedicated dog zones (I don't mind paying for something like that!). I know there are plenty of dog fields outside Glasgow but you need a car to get there. I can understand how annoying it is for cyclists and pedestrians and owners of nervous dogs but life on the lead is not a healthy option for most dogs. I see too many Covid pups with inexperienced, insecure owners who never get to play off lead which means they get frustrated and might turn difficult. There are so many more dogs now than a couple of years ago so it's more and more of an issue, same as owners not picking up after their dogs...
