There's possibly a more useful old spur a little to the south east, that goes from the current Bridgeton station, east under London Rd. Pops out next to Celtic Park at Whitby Street where there used to be a station. It's pretty much built on past that point, but it could be used in future since the London Rd tunnels still exist.
