Comment | Her problem isn't so much that she's unfriendly as she's anxious after being attacked twice as a puppy. Introduced properly she's perfectly fine, run up behind her and yeah, she'll bark. It's her telling your dog she's not comfortable with it.
Some of the folks commenting in this thread seem to think that a dog barking - i.e. communicating - is worse than a dog not being under its owner's control and causing issues. If someone I don't know runs up behind me and startles me I'm going to have something to say about it, too. |
