If you are in a residential area of Glasgow where parking permits are required - I would guess supermarkets are sending out notices/fines for parking there for more than 2 hours.
Asda at Toryglen do it. Lidl Finnieston also. Morrisons at Anniesland do. Tesco at Maryhill I’ve parked for longer with nothing - but maybe I was just lucky.
