As I understand it, Gett used to be the only app that had old fashioned pre-booking, but I tried that on Sunday there and they just released it on the app 10 minutes prior to the booking time which took ages and I got a black cab from their own app quicker, so I'm not sure if I was just unlucky or they have changed how the app works.
For a something like that, you probably want to use multiple apps and go with the first one that accepts. Even then it's not a guarantee, so make sure you are ordering the taxi at least half an hour before you actually need to leave. |
