With the TLC gig now being ‘postponed’, that is 3 out of the first 3 gigs that haven’t happened.
• Flaming Lips cancelled. The band issued a statement apologising and distancing themselves from the venue. They still played Barrowland, but nothing to do with J1 - tickets for J1 weren’t honoured as they had nothing to do with the Barras gig.
• Hot Chip - postponed until August
• TLC - moved to O2, but original J1 tickets were “allegedly” valid for the new venue. Now the gig has been ‘postponed’. TLC’s official website shows their last UK date as July 3rd before a run of Canada and USA dates until Sep 22nd, so I can’t see them coming back to do a one off Glasgow date before then. |
