It's a genuine point, I get it, even I've seen a fair few of these kinds of posts over the past few months.
After reading through the thread though, the fact that I've turned to Reddit isn't that big a deal for me personally. If it was something that I had to physically go somewhere to say this out loud, then I think I would be far more 'mortified' as you would put it. The fact that it's Reddit is fine with me as I mainly see this as an online outlet and kinda keeps things easier to handle.

Anyways, I appreciate that these kinds of posts can start creeping up more and more as time goes on, and I agree, by all means put a sticky or pinned thread for these kinds of things going forward :) |
