Indeed I just think it could be done more tastefully. Even over on the continent I've seen large modernist buildings being given classical facades . Which although not perfect atleast is alot better .

With all the new hotels I think they are trying to make Glasgow a more tourist friendly place . Which is probably a good thing for the local economy. But I don't think we can just offer good night life . It needs to be a nice place to walk around during the day and thats where nice architecture comes in.
