Oh I'm not going to sit here and defend brutalised architecture not a chance Le corbusier has alot to answer for. Not every one no but it seems to be almost all new builds now are to the same modernist style and its extremely boring and doesn't inspire any love.
It's not that they did but I'm sure some did. It's that we had a local style . You look at the tenements or alot of the buildings in Buchanan Street they just fit . |
