Manchester has it *much worse* than Glasgow. At least Glasgow's modern buildings are a reasonable height.

In Manchester they've built huge 50-storey glass skyscrapers that utterly dominate anything around them. There's one with a design flaw - whenever it's windy, it [makes a loud humming noise you can hear everywhere in the city](https://youtu.be/UAOzegnHg1g).
