The Oatlands development is awful for that. Big residential area across from the green, and the only shop in the entire area is a tiny wee corner shop. Closest shop asides from that is the Asda in Toryglen a good mile down a busy road and under the M74. That sort of development shouldn't be allowed at all, single family garbage with no amenities.
