It’s madness, we just paid 20% over home report in Milngavie. You’ve basically got to offer that much to get anything at the moment. If we’d had a choice we’d have waited till the crash, but we were fortunate to have a large deposit. I really sympathize with people who don’t, as getting a mortgage will be tricky when you’re paying that much over home report.
