Comment | It's true some drivers can be grumpy, especially the older ones that have been doing it for a while.
However, I'm a bus driver and I do try and help people when I can but I'd like to put a some what shaky case to you in our defence.
Firstly, we aren't a tour guide, we are shown the routes and that's it, no training on all the street names or names of the bus stops, just when to turn left or right.
Secondly, if we stop and help too many passengers, our bus will be late and they'll be yet more posts on r/Glasgow complaining about late busses.
First bus has it's problems but we get spat on, shouted at, attacked all the time, Glasgow is a hard place to drive a bus. |
