| Comment | Went to meet my pal in the 'Spoons on Argyle Street on before going to the Cathouse Halloween party years ago. I was dressed as a Vulcan from Star Trek.
Went to go in and I said hello to the bouncer, who looked me up and down, spotted my ears and said 'no Vulcans, mate.' I laughed and tried to go in when he stepped in front of the door, looked me dead in the eye and repeated '**No. Vulcans.**'
Was a bit taken aback and phoned my friends who were already in. It was all 'no bother at all, in you go' when my friend who was dressed in a green fairy outfit came to ask what the problem was.
Must have really hated Star Trek. Wonder if he'd let me in if I'd taken the ears off. |
