| Comment | My partner and I used to get knocked back from Maggie Mays all the time to the point it became a joke between us.
Sometimes we'd be going back home and decide to get one for the road only to be told "sorry guys, not tonight".
Other times we'd go there after work at about 1am, completely sober, same result.
One time we got knocked back at the front door but tried our luck at the side entrance. That bouncer was sound and let us in. We stood at the bar with our drinks and the bouncer from the front door saw us and kept walking by with a pure raging look on his face. We still chuckle about that.
What's weird though is that if either of us went there with friends there was never any issue getting in. |
