| Comment | Someone else has mentioned it but the State Bar is the regular winner of the local CAMRA branch Glasgow Pub of the Year. Awesome boozer and great building - it used to be the bar of a old time music hall, so has a really cool central bar and furnishings, with loads of music hall memorabilia
While it's a little walk from the centre, it's also very close to the Bon Accord, which is the other city centre real ale place worth visiting |
