You'll be a lot more secure with a housing association, honestly.
They will likely give you a new contract lease, as per their new ownership of your house, but they will take care of repairs and leave you alone for the most part (as others have said). I've been with a HA for over 20 years now and wouldn't move (unless I won the lottery)
