i live in east kilbride, never paid more that 400 a month for a flat, prices have went up by maybe 100 - 150 pounds over the last ten years

i completely understand the cost of living is hiting everyone but i never understand the argument about high rents in glasgow

its the reason ive never moved into glasgow

its a busy city centre full of businesses and shops, rents will always be high, you are essentially paying a premium for the location

theres alot of very affordable housing options in towns outside the main citys

but people will turn up their noses at these places (just waiting for the EKs a shithole jokes)

its like people who rent houses on flood planes then moan when it floods
