Comment | But it's not just the most desirable parts of the city that are unaffordable. That's the point. The West End has always been out of a lot of price ranges. We are in a situation where the suburbs that traditionally would have provided a similar living experience to places like EK - albeit slightly closer to the areas with nightlife and so on - are now unaffordable as well. Just telling people to leave a city isn't really a normal state of affairs. Glasgow is a big city, you shouldn't be paying ridiculous rents to live 25 minutes away from the city centre/west end. |
