| Comment | I absolutely love Chaakoo. The food is impeccable and the experience is relaxed - tasteful decor, helpful staff, diverse menu. My only regret was not getting one of those cool Indian milkshakes.
What’s really great, is that Chakoo’s portion sizes are perfect. It’s similar to tapas, you can order 3 things and they come out on 3 little plates.
Rant time. This is so rare for Glasgow restaurants now IMO. It’s always so much food in terms of volume. I hate restaurants where you order one thing, and they bring out like, a massive plate of whatever it is. Then you’re sitting there eating pasta or whatever, and you can only really eat THAT pasta IF THAT, because you’re full half way through. It’s a shame because of the waste and the fact that you’re going out to eat and only being able to fit half a main…a lot of Italian places are really bad for this.
