I attended Catholic schools. All the way through my education, we faced pretty heavy prejudice and subsequently fought with the non-denominational kids regularly. That said, we instigated fights ourselves and were not always just the victims - although, more often than not, we were not the aggressors.

When leaving secondary education (aged 18, going to university) the world opened up, multiculturalism was thrust upon us and it all just kinda stopped? I befriended boys from local non-denominational schools. In fact, the vast majority of us grew up and realised that the sectarianism was just an outdated coming of age tradition. This is a realisation that many members of the Orange Order have yet to come to - this is frustrating for a lot of minority groups in Glasgow / West Coast of Scotland.
